In writing this review, it reminds me of how few times I have taken the time to do so, which makes this review so important to me. I have had experience before owning a number of properties, involved in new roofing, however, that was before the Pandemic of COVID and the subsequent changes in costs that exist today. A very sobering change to say the least dipping my toes into the pond again. I sought out a one-year period of a new learning curve where it is difficult to compare “apples to apples” so-to-speak.
Early on when I was first getting estimates, I had the great fortune to meet someone who would make all the difference in my decision process. I went through a process of fifteen professional estimates, the word “professional” is used loosely here, as it was re-educating myself of the “new normal” in the industry. Fifteen estimates, you learn a lot of the shenanigans employed, of like a carnival shell game to deceive, all bait, to get a signature and then to “pad the bill”. Some take your deposit and never show up, some do very shoddy work, some misrepresent the products being used, and many do not have the qualifications for the work to be done, all ending up in a nightmare for the consumer.
I am writing this lengthy review, because I walked the walk and can talk the talk. I went to the extremes on all this research for over a year until I made the decision to spend a lot of money, and I am careful about money in “this day and age” of spending money.
On my Bennett’s Creek property in Suffolk, Va, and of the fifteen estimates it came down to five, then it became one, not by company, but by a salesman who had stayed with me throughout the whole process when all other fell away. Sometimes it is not a business, it is the person you come to trust. That person was Robert “Bob” Hall.
Having my trust in him, I had my trust in” Chase Roofing, LLC., 1409 Oriana Road, Yorktown, Virgina. Chase Roofing is way beyond “Five Stars”, incredible professionalism, a “World Class” work team of crews that amazed me in every way of how fast and hard they work, this work was done over seven days of tireless dedication in all inclement weather, they were actually working into the night in 27 Fahrenheit degree temperatures with windchills as I am on the water of 12 degrees. They worked with me in every way, helping me with the costs.
I am so indebted to all those that worked so hard under difficult weather conditions to complete this project.
My greatest gratitude is to Robert “Bob” Hall for Chase Roofing, and Project Manager Boni, still worry about pronouncing it right (SMILE), and Yobana Martinez.
My humble words may never be able to express my gratitude and appreciation for all that worked on this project, that took me from a nightmare to a dream come true.

If I failed to explain this correctly, I would never choose another.
