D&T Mobile Mechanic & Roadside Assistance

Family had car trouble on our way to Florida. Stuck in a parking lot we called after googling mechanics. They arrived and had us ready to go in less than 2 hours on a Saturday. This was not an easy fix either. I was thankful they were around to help.

Spoke with man and said to text address.. Would be $50 to look at. After texting address I waited for call back. Then he wouldn't answer phone or return texts after hours of waiting.

Communication, timing and services horrible. Contact them at 7:54am on Sunday in need of my Thermostat to be replaced and was told that they would be ready to do the job. Gave them the AutoZone address that I was stuck at; They got to me about half an hour and had to leave after taking my car apart to get another part for the Thermostat which I provided them the address to the nearest AutoZone which was 10 minutes away where they could get it. Over an hour at 11:33am they contacted me for update and about 2 hours later at 1:21pm I had to contact them to let them know I was still there waiting which they then informed me that they just received the part and was on the way back to me. When they got back to me they then told me that I needed to buy 8 spark plugs and a valve cover for them to replaced for my vehicle. So I purchased all items that they require for them to replace but they only replaced my thermostat and told me that they would come back later that day to finish the job but they never return. I contacted them at 7:54am and did not leave until around 3pm just for them to replace a thermostat. I ask was they coming back to finish completing the job and they told me “No they still busy and that they not no bs mechanic might have to do other work tmr, also If I’m in rush I can look around if they holding me up, and that they get busy”. So I paid D&T Mobile Mechanic $88 for them to change only my thermostat and Auto Zone $175 in parts that I was told I needed to purchase for them to replace and they didn’t do. I did hire Hand Over Wrench Mechanics to finish fixing my vehicle which they replaced my valve cover and all my spark plugs in a timely manner and with no problems. They also informed me that there were air bubbles after my thermostat replacement which is due to improper bleeding of the cooling system, leading to trapped air pockets that cause the result of my vehicle to overheating and lose coolant which they also fixed. After posting this I was contacted by them with insults, disrespect, and threat due to me posting review with my honest experience with them.
