We live in Georgetown and wanted to use local, instead of finding a bigger named business.
So when my husband called Monday morning we were quoted $250.00 if it was cash. Off I go with the money in hand, when the driver get's here and get's my car on the truck and basically driving away, we get a call and are then told by your receptionist (bc the driver said he would not tell me), that she forgot something and she is new etc..
All of a sudden my bill goes up by $100.00 if I have cash (well I don't I left home with the cash we were quoted), so then my bill should be $386 because I would have to pay with my card. I said no way, you made the mistake, so I ended up paying $350. Total scam on your part. Had we have been quoted $350 in the morning we would have gone with someone else - we had a few quote us even cheaper.
It is funny how it was once the car was on the truck and no one called ahead of time. We would have stopped the truck from coming. On top of that, my receipt that was emailed has no specific's. Not home much was for KM's, or how much was for towing. I work in the retail/service business. If I give someone a wrong quote and they agree to it, then that is what they pay, not an new amount at the last minute. Very Very shameful.
I left a message on messenger and no answer, I also sent an email another way (the only one I could find, which is also very strange that a business does not have an easy to find email). SCAM
