What started as a simple free brake check turned into an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience. We walked in expecting honest advice and left paying $498.30 for a hub that was damaged while they were working on our vehicle.
There were two bolts that were spinning and wouldn’t come out. We were told they could remove them from the back for $220, but instead they cut the bolts, which damaged the hub. Suddenly, we were being told we had to pay for a brand-new hub — for damage that occurred in their shop.
To make matters worse, while replacing the hub they broke the axle and initially wanted us to pay for that as well. After pushing back, they finally agreed to cover the axle, but we were still stuck paying for the hub.
After nearly $500, we still don’t even have new brakes, which was the entire reason we came in. It’s deeply disappointing to leave with more problems than we arrived with.
We have been loyal customers for 25 years, and this experience completely shattered the trust we had built over decades. The lack of accountability and care was shocking. Unfortunately, we will not be returning, and I would not recommend this shop based on our experience.
