Used Kenway to move my mother and they were able to damage every piece of furniture they touched. Contacted them to discuss and emailed them pictures of the damage and I have yet to hear back from them. So we spent $500 to fix the damage on top of the inflated price Kenway charged for 3 movers instead of the 2 that was needed. Lesson learned and I would not recommend using this company at all.

This has to be the worst moving company ever. They didn’t only charge me $1,100.00 for the move I had to pay for a extra man to stand and watch them. They were supposed to arrive between 9:30 and 11:30 AM they didn’t come until 2:00 PM. It only took 2 hours to load my furniture and I know it took them close to four hours to unload it. They went to my son’s house first which was supposed to be there last stop as a few things from the Condo were going to his house. Needless to say they damaged just about everything they touch which cost me and extra $505.00 to have repaired. If they had arrived on time, they could have had me moved before it rained. This was a disaster that I feel people should know about.
Needless to say they don’t want to talk to me or my son they just want the money. I paid a heavy price for this lesson.
Please don’t be there next victim. Verla Jones

Abbreviated Review:
HORRENDOUS experience — Over-promised, under-delivered.
This company operates under multiple names and locations, which should’ve been a red flag. They were dishonest, misleading, and unprofessional from start to finish. The movers were clearly unqualified, took twice as long as estimated, and failed to meet the terms they used to get me to hire them in the first place.
They arrived late, smelling of marijuana, and before even beginning, pushed highlighted contract sections in front of me demanding signatures and initials — clearly a setup to cover themselves later.
Within 20 minutes, they damaged a dresser that was less than a year old. In total, they caused damage to:
2 beds
3 dressers
Washer & dryer (including the pedestal)
My new home’s front door and stairwell wall
Only 32 items were to be moved, and my family moved 7 of them, leaving just 25 for the company to handle — and they still couldn’t do it right.
Worse, they left mid-job while I was on the phone, without notifying me or completing reassembly. I later spoke with Markeif, who told me to file a complaint and an insurance claim — which I'm still dealing with.
Communication with "CJ" at 248-836-8020 has been awful — only responds via text, unprofessional, and threatens legal action when confronted about the company’s false advertising and poor service. He refuses to acknowledge the movers' incompetence, instead hiding behind the signed contract — a contract signed based on deceptive assurances of professional service.
Beth Miller from the Yorktown, VA office falsely claimed over the phone that insurance would cover everything — a blatant lie. The insurance coverage is minimal and intentionally misleading.
STAY FAR AWAY. Hire anyone else — even middle schoolers — and your belongings and sanity will be in better hands.
