In October 2025 I purchased a condominium that was listed by Ms. Bernard. The whole time line went fast as we paid cash and had no inspection as it was the perfect place and location. It had sat on market for 44 days. After they had Contract and we had Closing date set, no one ever put a SOLD sign at property, nor took For Sale sign out of window, nor secured the Lock Box with key. They also never lowered the price. We negotiated barely taking anything off the Listing Price and it was easy for all Agents involved.
After purchase on the Move In Weekend I was texted by both parties of Realtors, William Neuman who barely showed me the place and Ms. Bernard's Team about the sign and lockbox. Had to drop everything and go to condo to put outside for the weekend pickup lady Megan. The next Monday a strange van and person pulled up wanting the sign which I knew nothing about and thought he was an opportunist or stranger trying to get in my condo. It really upset me that they had 3 weeks to take of that before I moved in, which on day of Closing is when Mr. Neuman should have grabbed everything when he did last walk through and I was assured everything at condo was in good order. The bathtub handle was broken, and water could not be accessed. Ms. Bernard bragged about the Home Warranty they had while it was on market but no one dared warn me about this and Mr. Neuman got very upset during my walk through looking at condo in early October to determine if I wanted to purchase it. He did not like me tuning on lights, opening cabinets, etc. as he turned all red and looked angry. NOT OK.
I reached out to the team in November as I was going to sell my old property and wanted the most capable Megan to be my Realtor to list, but Ms. Bernard and Megan showed up. Basically, Ms. Bernard wanted me to enter into a contract at a lower price than I wanted to list and said I had to decrease price by $15,000.00 every 7 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! UNHWEARD OF!!!!!! She also mentioned since I bought that property at such a low rate in 1998 she insinuated I should not sell it for 2025 price, just dump it! I took a few days and politely let her know I am keeping it as it serves as a great storage unit in shed and closet, and I rent it out. Why throw something away when it is actually a good investment?
The BIGGEST ISSUE about this is the property that I purchased through her that sat on market for 44 days, overpriced, they NEVER LOWERED the PRICE!!!!!!! She was either trying to take advantage of me or thought I was terribly ignorant, or both. I am not. And as we spoke in old condo that day, she intimidated that she was not use to truthful people, which told me a lot about her.
She was kind, but anyone trying to take advantage or pull wool over someone's eyes is going to be charming, friendly working with an inner objective of manipulation to get what they want how they want it out of a situation.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!
