I went in today to get a gel manicure and regular pedicure…The tech from the beginning ( Hero was his name) clearly did not want to spend the time and do a good job. He was caustic and made snide remarks several times…and I finally said, Are you making fun of me? And he laughed and said Yes! The towels he put on my legs were scorching hot and when I complained, he just laughed…When he was putting lotion on my hands and arms he tried to twist my wrist and when I said it hurt because of arthritis…again, no apology…just a laugh.
Finally when he completed both services, he got up and went straight to desk where I would go to pay…but I still had on the temporary flip flops and he never made an effort to help me take those off and put my regular sandals back on…which is something that is always done for the customer so the polish won’t smear.
It was a very unprofessional job and what should have been a relaxing time, it was anything but. I will not be back…and I really regret leaving a tip because I am ususally a good tipper going over and above…but I felt I needed to leave Mr Hero something.
