I used Marathon Northwest Inspections recently and it helped us dodge a bullet. The water heater was leaking and was turned off. The shower water didn’t turn on unless the sink facet was running! I checked the sink facet and flushed the toilet at the same time and it had good pressure. I didn’t think I had to try the shower! Fortunately our inspector (Ben) was very thorough and had a complete report with pictures to go over with us. The owner denied any problems and we terminated our offer. What I really liked was that all problems were classified as minor to major. Three weeks later after finding another house, I called Marathon and set up an inspection. They are hard working, honest and professional. I highly recommend them and would use them again. An inspection on your dream house is worth every penny even if it all comes back with only minor issues.
