I had a great experience when I passed by with my tire pressure issue. No appointment. I was taken care of by a very polite, friendly person. Not only that, but he took care of me immediately. What more could I ask for? Thank you for taking care of me!!
What a Surprise!!!!!
Friday mid-afternoon, I brought my Santa Fe to Mr. Lube for a regular oil change. The service was completed in a timely fashion with the staff displaying their usual courtesy and politeness. I asked if they did tire repairs and was advised that the cost would be $49.99 plus tax.
I arrived Saturday morning at 8:00 am with another car. There were already 4 cars ahead of me and I was told I would need to wait for 40 minutes. 20 minutes later a technician approached and asked what the issue was. I explained the situation, he jacked up the car, removed the affected wheel and did what was required to resolve the problem.
At my request he also checked the tire pressure on the other 3 tires. All were fine.
It was now time to pay. To my shock and surprise, there was no charge. I was told that because there was no actual repair to a tire and the issue was a faulty tire bead, there would be no charge. How unexpected. In today’s world, for a small business to perform a service and say it is on the house is exceptional.
I always like going to Mr. Lube because I don’t need an appointment and they do a good job. Now, to be treated as I was is the icing on the cake.
