I had a disappointing experience with Heather Onoday at OHSU for microblading tattoo removal. During my initial consultation, I was advised that up to 10 Fraxel laser treatments would be needed, each costing $350. Despite completing 4 sessions, I saw zero improvement.
Doubtful of the treatment’s effectiveness, I sought opinions from respected dermatologists and plastic surgeons. Both confirmed that Fraxel laser is not suitable for removing microblading tattoos, as it does not target pigment effectively. They were surprised that OHSU and Heather Onoday recommended this method.
I have since switched to Picosecond laser treatments elsewhere, and after just 2 sessions, I am seeing excellent results. I am very disappointed that I spent over $1200 with no results and feel let down by the advice given. I trusted OHSU and its practitioners, and this experience has been both frustrating and costly. I urge others to do their research before trusting any recommendations.
