Stay away from these guys. I would give them a zero if there were such a rating. They charged a high price for work they didn't do.
I was billed for cleaning ALL gutters and connecting a non-functioning and incorrectly-installed downspout, resulting in water pouring onto the roof and down to the original gutter.
The new downspout was never tested before they left. During the next rain storm, I confirmed there was no water coming out of the incorrectly-installed downspout. I sent videos to Tyler. He assured me that this would be fixed.
No gutters were cleaned, except for the one that I was able to visually inspect. After they left, I immediately called Tyler and had them come back and clean that gutter. I then paid the bill in full, assuming they had cleaned the other gutters. It was confirmed by another contractor (in removal of the non-functioning downspout) that none of the other gutters had been cleaned (photographs).
As for the emergency repair of June 16, 2025, Royal Exterior Worx was unable to fix the deficiencies and won't stand by their warranty. I've asked and followed up on a number of occasions for a partial refund. Tyler agreed to provide a partial refund, although he said that the house architecture was terrible and this was why they were unable address their deficiencies. They should never have given a quote for work they couldn't do! Tyler hasn't provided a partial refund, nor replied to my follow-up emails.
On July 25, 2025, I had enough of waiting to hear from him. I had to hire another licensed contractor to clean the gutters (which was billed and should have been done by Royal Exteriors) and remove/rectify the non-functioning downspout.
The other contractors were stellar, tested the work before they left and even came back, after hours, to power wash the neighbor's side of the house which incurred some overspray, because they care about their reputation. These contractors shook their heads when they looked at this "emergency repair downspout job" and said "Whoever did this, made a mess of it and don't know what they're doing."
Hiring and trusting Royal Exterior Worx was a costly lesson (in time and money). They have been a nightmare to deal with and are unreliable. Adding insult to injury, when I first contacted and hired Royal Exterior Worx, I told them I had just had a death in the family and that I was dealing with the property.
I wouldn't ordinarily write such a negative review and try to see the positive side of people, but this was taking advantage of a vulnerable woman who just lost her father, by overcharging and under-delivering, and hope that this review will prevent someone else from learning a hard lesson.
