Shattered a glass coffee table, leaving deep gouges on my hardwood flooring, causing $2000 in damages. They initially acknowledged the broken glass marked the flooring but when they saw the repair quote, gaslighted me by saying that it was like that from the previous homeowners (it wasn't, and we have photos), and that it "wasn't their fault the flooring got scratched." I feel cheated, manipulated, and $2000 lighter. I regret inviting them into our home.
