This review would be ZERO stars if I could. It is for Sportherapy's billing department not their PTs. Their PTs are excellent but their billing department starting with Krissy Sedlak, is horrendous. I needed additional visits due to a major injury and she sat on the request for 2 months despite multiple emails from me. You can not call her (no phone number). You have to communicate via email only. Ridiculous and impossible to get things resolved. She never tried to get additional visits approved by my insurance company and stated that Anthem Blue Cross will not approve additional visits once 30 (max) are used. This was false information and a lie to avoid work. After weeks of working with my insurance company and excellent PT (Lucas Leal who is no longer there), I was able to get 3 months of additional PT visits. In the meantime, I had to pay $800 per month out of pocket to continue treatment. I've been attempting to resolve these "cash outlay" payments through my insurance company and Sportherapy. I spoke with Sportherapy last Fri (05/30) and James (billing) agreed to send the additional detailed billing information required by my insurance. However, on Mon (06/02/25) morning, I found out that Sportherapy's billing department sent my bill to collections despite their agreement to provide the necessary information last Fri. Outrageous and absurd. James did not even provide a courtesy heads-up when I spoke with him 3 days ago (last Fri). The people in this billing department are part of a 3rd party incapable company who have no idea what they are doing nor do they care. Their mistakes, slow responses and lack of effort cost Sportherapy's patients time, frustration, and money. If Sportherapy would get a new and improved billing department to deal with the complexity of medical bills, insurance, etc. in a timely manner, then they would be an excellent company. However, this is not the case today and therefore I do not recommend them. I would never go back
